the scene starts in a temple on tattoine, the scene has a very heavy feeling of foreboding, Vader has had to come deal with a problematic jedi himself, the jedi is on the high ground giving a sense of power, vader is standing in front of the door way which is heavily overexposed lighting him from behind giving him a dark evil silhouette, this over exposure also adds to the feeling of it being on tattoine a desert planet and lets the viewer know its an interior.
the exterior shows r2d2 and c3po waiting for a ship to land in a valley on tattione, the ship is the cavalry arriving to come help the Jedi trapped by vader, the scene is shot at sun set and shows a lot of cold purples and blues whit a mix through the sand that is being kicked up by the ship landing

colour study
a tutorial i did on digital tutors which i also turned into my colour study for tattoine, i was learning that the shadows in scenes like this are blue and purple rather than shades of grey, and the yellows and orange dint acctually stretch to far away from the sun and highlights
